Our criteria

How a program gets listed

  1. Available to Canadian residents, with terms published in Canada.
  2. Fees and conditions disclosed clearly enough to explain in a note.
  3. Relevant to what Carnet teaches: registered accounts, fees, bonuses, cashback.
  4. Commission rate is not a criterion, and placement is never sold.

Order: cashback first, then investing and money apps, then books. Placement is not paid for. Products are listed for education; none is a recommendation for your situation. Read the provider's current terms before applying; our note How to read a sign-up bonus's fine print walks through the clauses that matter.
